    Umar is a Lead Consultant with ThoughtWorks. He started his software journey close to 13 years ago of which the last 6 years have been with ThoughtWorks. responsible for delivering complex distributed agile programs.

    Umar has been Project/Program manager on multiple projects couple of which had teams of close to 200 people, distributed across multiple cities and time zones. Umar also comes with a developer background with rich hands on experience on the engineering aspects of Agile.

    He currently dons the role of an Agile Coach on many delivery projects. He is also an experienced trainer and works actively helping our client organizations in their Agile adoption initiatives.

    Umar is also an entrepreneur and runs a successful retail textile business based out of India.
