Hi Peter,

Hi Preeti,
What kind of control you are trying to test? Is it popup windows or alerts?
Selenium consumes alerts and you wont be able to see them when you execute selenium script. Alerts does not have any ids.
You can identify popup windows by its name.
I'm guessing yours is window as "getAlert" throws an error as no alert present. Is it a public website? Is it possible to send me the link? My id is nivetha@thoughtworks.com
Or, suggest me a date and time to have a call and webex session which will help me to understand better.
Regards,
Nivetha.

I'm guessing its because of two pop-ups. Use getAlert() which will retrieve the message shown in the alert to understand which popup it is trying to click. Does it show both pop-ups one after the other or both together?
Regards,
Nivetha.

Yes. eclipse log will help. Can you send us across the log file?

Nivetha.

Hi Mark,
Sorry for the delay in response. Right now, we dont have any hooks for customizing Twist behaviour.
We are adding this hook in Twist 1.2. We can give you an intermediate build once we have that hook in place, if you are interested. Let me know.
Regards,
Nivetha.

Its recommended to install Twist in some other location and point to the workspace where your project resides. Your Twist project is under your workspace which you have selected when you create a project. You can find out the location of your workspace by right clicking on your project -> Properties.
Regards,
Nivetha.

Hi Vemu,
You can find out the current version of Twist in "About Twist" dialog.
Latest version available is Twist1.0 (5898). We are working on Twist1.1 release this month (August).
Will announce it soon.
Regards,
Nivetha.

Twist 1.0 release supports all selenium configurations.

Hi James,
We are working on upgrading the selenium version which is bundled as part of Twist to Selenium1.0.2 and Firefox 3.5 support. This will be available in Twist 1.1 release which will be out by mid of August.

Thanks for updating us. We have updated our help appropriately.

Hi James,
Yes. This is available in 1.0 release and it is available in "How do I" section in Twist help. Online link is - http://studios.thoughtworks.com/twist-agile-test-automation/1.0/help/how_do_i_create_browser_for_every_exec.html
Thanks.

Hi Ramin,
We have got similar issues in the past - http://community.thoughtworks.com/posts/50cbf43873
Can you try installing it again in different folder.
Thanks.

Just an update on this. Twist now works only with Eclipse 3.4.1 and not Eclipse 3.4.
