Enter a Card Number into a Card's Relationship Property

    Topic:
Enter a Card Number into a Card's Relationship Property
    Body:

Request the ability to be able to directly type-in a card number for the tree relationship property.  Right now we are forced to select from a drop-down list.  If the list is too long, then one needs to set filters so that their card-of-interest is displayed so that it can merrely be selected.  It would be a whole lot easier just to enter the number of the card - that is typically already known.

      Fred

Thanks for the feedback. I have captured your requirement. Just so you know we have made some improvements to the card relationship property selector in Mingle 3.1 which will be available later in the spring. The functionality you have requested is not included but we hope that the enhancements we have made will make setting this property easier for people.

      Thanks

Agree with Fred this is annoying.

You may already know this, but you can avoid at least some of the pain by using "Search" instead of "Filter" from the "Select Card" view, and using "#<known card number>" as your search.  This will always return exactly one item, which is the card you're looking for (note you need #<card number>, not just <card number> or it will search for any card containing the number)

Still too many click IMO, but at least avoids the need to hunt through a list or think about what filters to set.
